Valentine's Day Gift- Plan A Vacation

Valentine's Day is great time to plan a trip together. Planning rest and relaxation together is always lots of fun. Maybe it's been a while since you've had a whole weekend dedicated just to you. Maybe you've always wanted to visit a special place together. Perhaps you'd like to go back to a place with special memories. Whether it's a month in Europe years from now or a few days at home with the phone off the hook, it's well worth planning. Now's a great time to start putting your ideas in motion and turning your dreams into reality together.

This Valentine's Day, you could start with a little mini vacation right at home. What a great Valentine's Day gift! Just plan a some simple romantic alone time. Have a nice light meal, give your partner a good backrub and just relax. Play your favorite mood music, laugh and unwind together. When you get around to it, start sharing ideas about your next getaway. Sharing your dreams helps you get to know each other.

One day my partner and I started talking about going away. We looked on the web just for fun. We instantly fell in love with a place - where we knew we could truly enjoy ourselves. The pictures alone were soothing and inviting. Even though we had no idea how, what, where or when at the time, we found ourselves at that very place within weeks! It was magical... More than we could have ever imagined. Once we decided we really wanted to go, everything just fell into place.

So my Valentine's Day gift would include a whimsical note about the idea of returning to this special place. Something like:

Want to run to Holland
Now I know why
To know Truth and Beauty
Yours, Mine, Ours
Eternal Me, Eternal You, Eternal Love
The glimpse I got revealing
Came to me in Holland
I want to know more
Do you?
Worth another trip, at least
If we're so lucky, we can go

You can start with a note or just an open invitation to take time off together.
Making a Valentine's Day card out of a post card would be a nice touch. You might have travel magazines on hand to inspire you. You can pick these up at a travel agent or Auto Club. You could give your partner a travel themed gift, too. How about a to be filled photo album?
Valentine's Day with the vacation theme has lots of possibilities.

Start with a mini vacation on the day and see where that leads. A big fan of relaxing together, I highly recommend creating a cozy atmosphere and sharing a little massage for your Valentine's Day vacation. A little massage always goes along way in relationships. Give your partner a little taest of your next trip together! See the easy massage lessons on instant download at www.learn-massage-online.com.

Have lots of fun!

Valentine's Day gift guide: Colored Roses Are A Nice Touch

Valentine's Day gifts often bring flowers to mind. Did you know, roses of different colors are traditionally associated with different meanings.

Red: love, passion, respect, courage
Yellow: joy, friendship, freedom
Pink: happiness, gratitude, appreciation, admiration
Cream: thoughtfulness, charm, graciousness
Orange: admiration, fascination, enthusiasm, desire
White: innocence, purity, secrecy, reverence

Whether you just pick the flowers you are drawn to, look the prettiest or have special meanings, roses are great Valentine's day gift...Especially when they come with a coupon for a relaxing massage or some other decadent service that only you can provide. The massage will make a profound and lasting impression. The roses are nice touch, your touch is even nicer!

One red rose across a cozy massage table made up with sheets and a soft blanket can really make someone's Valentine's Day!

A single rose with a small note for a surprise date later that night would certainly build anticipation.

Why learning how to give a great massage is better than chocolate or flowers...

  1. You'll NEVER have to worry about it going stale or withering, and you won't have to go the store to get it.
  2. ALL you need is your hands to give a great gift anytime, anywhere - you don't need water or a vase
  3. It only gets better with age and experience - massage allows you to feel more over time
  4. It's far less expensive and infinitely more valuable - it's great for your health and your love life
  5. Once you know the techniques to give a great massage, it will last you and your partner a lifetime
  6. Massage releases powerful endorphins which make you, the giver, AND the receiver feel good - you'd have to eat tons of chocolate to get similar results
  7. Massage doesn't have any calories - giving a massage burns calories not stores them away
  8. A great massage turns even the most stressed out person into puddy and literally makes them feel good
  9. Massage itself makes you tingle from head to toe - it increases circulation and soothes the nerves
  10. Massage, if done well, deeply relaxes the body and paves way for more unbridled passionate experiences...It's relaxation that allows you feel and enjoy more...

Valentine's Day Gifts - Express Your Love!!!

Valentine's Day is all about letting people know we love and care about them. Today an article graced my inbox, reminding me of the tremendous value of expressing your love to the people in your life. In our busy days, we easily take our feelings for granted and assume the people closest to us know how we feel - know they're loved and appreciated.

The article explained that letting people know you love them is the truest gift of the heart. The fulfilling aspect of love is telling and showing someone you love them. Stating your love without expectation can make a huge difference in another's life and take a relationship to a deeper level. Saying "I love you" builds trust and transform fears that block us from enjoying growing levels of love within ourselves.

Personally, I am a big love expresser. This article affirmed why I enjoy it so much! The main reason- it feels great! It brings me so much joy to express my love. Love is the highest expression of the self. I also simply like knowing at the end of the day, no matter what else I did, I truly loved with all my heart.

After all, love is one of the precious few treasures we have to enjoy that's unmatched by anything else in life. No one else can create it or take it away. The beauty and pleasure of love is experienced through expression, not witholding.

For many people, expressing feelings and affection can be a new experience, especially if it wasn't practiced in their homes growing up. It's easy to grow past that today. All we have to do is choose to express our true feelings and enjoy the act of love. We can pave the way. In my own experience, for example, it was so freeing when as an adult I began to tell family members I loved them. Some had never spoken these words- not to my knowledge. Now they say I love you freely, too! It's almost as if they were waiting for someone to give them permission- to break the ice.

Valentine's Day can be a great "ice breaker"! Valentine's Day opens closed doors, promoting the expression of love, even if inspired by this special occasion. The hidden gift of Valentine's Day to the world is that each year it reminds us to express our love. Valentine's helps us to recall how gratifying it is open our hearts. It reminds us of our birthright to love freely - to give and receive love. I never really thought about how Valentine's Day might be transforming the world, one expression of love at a time.

Most everyone agrees the best Valentine's Day gift is the gift from the heart that says, 'You are special. I adore you. I love you just the way you are."

The best Valentine's Day gifts that come to mind are true acts of love and appreciation. In the coming weeks, I hope we can all share some the best Valentine gift ideas from the past or for the future and grow a little more love in the world...
